It's now become an annual event for me: attending the Nutrition and Metabolism Symposium, which follows the Regional Obesity Course sponsored by the American College of Bariatric Physicians. As last year, I'll be attending both. Some of the talks I'm looking forward to:
- The Case Against Sugar - Gary Taubes
- An Emerging 21st Century Perspective on Obesity: Beyond the Dogma of the Calorie - Jeffrey Bland
- Carbohydrate Restriction and Medical Illness - Mary Vernon
- Carbohydrate Restriction for Cardiometabolic Risk Reduction - William Davis
- Low-Carbohydrate Diets for Neurological Disorders - Kric Kossoff
This year, I'm hoping to use Twitter to update my readers on some of the exciting things I'm learning about, so
to find out the latest!
