The meats, produce, and dairy sections yield most of the foods most of us eat on a day-to-day basis. However, many of us find that certain special food products make great additions. - Julian's Bakery low carb bread. Without a doubt the best tasting of all the low carb breads I've tried. Has anyone figured out how to make this at home? Their ingredient list is kind of sketchy. Unfortunately I can't afford to order this $8 a loaf bread very often.

- Hoods Calorie Countdown in 2% and 2% chocolate. A latte a day keeps me happy and I can have one (or 2, even) with this low-carb milk. I don't use syrup, just espresso and milk. Plus,it taste pretty much like dairy milk. It's ultra-pasteurized, and it keeps for quite a while.

Favorite Low-Carb Products
- My favorites are meat, fish, poultry, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, cream, butter, whey protein powder, flaxseed meal, almond meal, unsweetened coconut meal, liquid sucralose, shirataki noodles, nuts in general, and nonstarchy veggies. I guess I just like food, period. =8^) What I don't like are frankenfoods, like tofu pups or fake potato mixes. They're formulated to take my money and sneak industrial carbage back into my body, and I'm not interested in going down that road again. Tried it already, doesn't make me feel good.
