From the article: How to Make a Low-Carb Pizza
Pizza is a food that many of us love. The good news is that most of the toppings are low in carbs. The bad news is that the crust is not! Things I like to do are to use portobello mushrooms as the base, or make it with my favorite low-carb crust. What is your favorite way to satisfy your pizza craving in a low-carb way? pizza "crust"
- We've been cutting down on carbs this last year and my husband has become quite and my husband has become quite the creative cook. He makes a "deep-dish" pizza by simply putting a layer of zucchini slices on the bottom, with all of our favorite toppings on it. We call it our pizza casserole, because it is juicy, but it also is delicious, healthy and just as tasty as pizza with a real crust.

Low Carb Pizza Crust
- I love this recipe I found on genaw.com. I modified it a little. I take a 1/4 c. of egg beaters, 1 TBS almond meal, 1TBS parm cheese. Then I coat a 9-10" non-stick skillet with Pam, pour batter into hot pan, cook until brown on onside, flip over and cook the other side. You can freeze these crusts. Top with whatever.

Bacon crust!
- We made a crust by weaving bacon together, 14 slices think cut works best! You bake the bacon 20 min. at 400. Then after you drain it top it with what ever and bake at 325 for 10-15 min. YUM~

Flax-Meal Pizza
- Recipe: Crust- 1 1/2 cups flax meal 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon oil 3 eggs 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon artificial sweetener 1 tablespoon garlic powder Buttery Sauce- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder 1 tablespoon melted butter. 1 teaspoon parsley (May be altered for taste) Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease small-medium sized cookie sheet with butter or margarine. Mix all of the crust ingredients together in a bowl. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to thicken slightly. Spread onto a medium sized cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Take this out of the oven and brush the butter sauce over the entire pizza. Place back into over for an additional 15 minutes of until desired crispness. Take out of over and place topping as desired before placing back into the oven until toppings are cooked. I loved this with cheese and sauce. You have to get used to the flax meal taste but the taste consistency fulfilled my pizza craving. Let me know if you have suggestions.

low carb pizza crust
- I love thin crust pizza, so I use a low-carb tortilla as my base and bake it on a stone. Quick and easy.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust
- Cauliflower Pizza Crust 1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower** 1 egg 1 cup mozzarella cheese 1/2tsp fennel 1 tsp oregano 2 tsp parsley pizza or alfredo sauce toppings mozzarella cheese Preheat oven to 450 degrees farenheit. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe). Flipping the crust over half way through baking makes a much nicer, crispier crust. Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese. Place under a broiler at high heat just until cheese is melted.

low carb pizza
- Low-carb tortilla topped with all the bacon, pepperoni and cheese or peppers you want, a smear of sauce and good to go at 450F . Ready in 5 minutes (so way faster than old style carb heavy pizza).

The Best of the Pizza
- What I think makes the best part of a pizza is the cheese and pepperoni. If I can get this flavor, I'm satisfied without having the bread. What I do is put pepperoni slices under the broiler and get them crisp and crunchy then melt cheese on top of them. That is the BEST "pizza" snack there is!

low carb pizza
- we use Josephs lavash bread for the crust the size is perfect, and very low carb.Size is aprox 9x12, add low or no sugar sauce and cheese bake at 400 . Add pepperoni, peppers, onion what ever you like its extra thin so you may like it better if you crisp up the bread first in the oven then add toppings and rebake. Enjoy!!!!!

low carb pizza
- I get a low carb tortilla (carb balance tastes the best). Add my own homemade sauce, fresh basil and mozzorella. I then transfer the tortilla to the oven on a pizza stone that was preheated to 425 degrees. The pizza stone makes the tortilla crisp. Tastes just like pizza with a thin crust.

- Use alfredo sauce which is much lower in carbs- usually less than 3 carbs depending on the brand.

- I just wanted to share how I make a low carb pizza I take shredded cheese and spread it over the bottom of a baking pan ( any size or shape) I use a 9x12. You can make it how thick you want I usually do about 1/2 inch. Put your sauce and all the topping you want top with more shredded cheese and bake for about 20 to 30 mins. You just bake to the consistency you want. You can also do this with taco bake just do it the same way except put you taco meat on the cheese top w/cheese and bake when it comes out top with your sour cream and lettuce, tomatoes, green onions what ever you put on your taco's.If you make a big pan of this taco bake it is best to put some on your plate and then top w/toppings so you can heat the leftovers later. These are both very good. If you are doing South Beach you can use 2% cheese.

Double-layer tortilla
- I use two low-carb tortilla (flavored ones from La Tortilla Factory) with a thin layer of mozarella cheese melted in the middle. First, heat oven with a pizza stone in it to 425. Then, lay one tortilla on the stone, place mozzarella on the tortilla, and put second tortilla over the top. Bake for 5 minutes and bottom gets crusty. Remove and FLIP so uncooked side is down. Top with your pizza ingredients and return to pizza oven. Bake until everything is bubbly and bottom tortilla is crusty. The double-thickness allows you to pick it up like real pizza slices.

Low Carb Lunchmeat hoagie
- I use La Totilla wraps (3 net carbs each.,purchased at Kroger's, Meijer's). I spoon on pasta sauce (about a tablespoon or less)(I use LaRosa's)add salami, approx. 6 slices, several slices of ham, more sauce, several pieces of sliced pepperoni, a tad more sauce and a slice of provolone or mozzarala(not sure of spelling!) I microwave mine about 1 1/2 minutes but baking may be better. Not sure how wrap would fare. I top with onion, pickle or chop and add onions before I zap. Man, is this good!! & not many carbs!!!
