What changes I made

I had a blood sugar level of 478 on March 13th. With no meds and by eating low carb, my average blood sugar for the week is now under 100 :-) It was 89 when I woke up this morning, May 10th! :-) I've also lost 70 pounds since February!

How I did it

I keep track of what I eat here...

I try to stay closer to 20, but not more than 40 carbs per day. I read Dr Bernstein's and Dr Atkin's books and follow something similar, but not strictly either one.

My blood sugar dropped steadily week by week and day by day as my system had time to rest and recover and normalize.

Tips & tricks

  • I put my foods into FitDay to get a good idea what I am consuming. http://www.fitday.com/
  • I do not cheat and eat stuff I shouldn't because I want to live
  • I am not very hungry and do not crave carbs when I eat plenty of good fats
  • Weight falls off effortlessly!!!!!
