I was lucky enough to go be in San Diego and stop by the Julian Bakery in La Jolla, CA. It's a great little store that has many low carb options. I guess it was great timing as they had made some of their new Carb Zero bread that is gluten free, zero net carb, sugar free, yeast free, high protein (9g Protein), and high fiber. I have been a fan of the Julian Bakery for many years and am so delighted to review this new bread.
I don't know what else I could have possibly asked for in this bread. The flavor is great and the bread is moist and toast up like regular bread. This bread is made primarily of Oat Fiber and Egg whites and is not crumbly or dense.
As a Type 2 diabetic finding a bread that does not spike my blood sugar has been a long quest. I am happy to report a zero impact on my blood sugar after eating two slices of Carb Zero bread. Never before have I been able to eat any bread with this sort of amazing results.
Looking forward to trying the Carb Zero -Cinnamon Version and the Julian Bakery's new Paleo bread that comes in Almond or Coconut.
