Many of the foods we buy in stores are in packages with nutritional information, but what of fresh vegetables and fruit, nuts in the bulk bin, popcorn at the movies? I've been slowly building a database of the carbs in a wide range of foods, including information about the glycemic index and glycemic load of the food, as well as nutritional information and links to low-carb recipes (when available). My most recent addition: Carbs in Cornmeal, Grits, Polenta, and Popcorn.
