It's always interesting to me to watch the numbers of people clicking on my site at this time of year, because it is so dramatic. The line on the graph starts to ease down at the beginning of November. By December, it goes into a nose-dive, with the lowest day being Christmas Day. Then, today, the numbers will start to grow again, until in a week I'll see the highest numbers of the year! It's kind of crazy! People abandon their healthy way of eating around the holidays, and then start with a vengeance after! Of course, I don't advocate this approach, but if you're gearing up to reboot, here are some things you can do:- Take Seven Carb-Cutting Steps - Some of them some of them involve adding food, not subtracting. I find it helpful to think about what to eat rather than dwelling exclusively on foods to cut back on.
- Ecourse: How to Cut Carbs - This course can be done through email, or on the Web. It takes you through various ways to cut carbs in your diet. It's great for people who don't want to "go on a diet" at all, or just to learn where the carbs lurk. You'll get daily emails for 16 days, or or view the course online here.
- How to Cut Down on Sugar - Want to pick one type of carbohydrate to start with? That would be sugar, the worst one of all.
