Hanukkah starts this Wednesday and runs for 8 nights. One of the traditions of the holiday is to eat foods fried in oil. Did you know that there are different kinds of latkes? They don't have to be made from potato, and I have some ideas for low-carb latkes. It's also becoming more popular to eat a kind of fried doughnuts called sufganiot as they do in Israel. I can't say that I've made an authentic replication of those, but my low-carb doughnuts could be used instead.
