Meal Planning Help

mealWant help in planning your meals ahead of time? We have a new tool to help you on all of our recipe pages. For example, go to this recipe for Cranberry Walnut Cookies. On the right-hand side of the page is a box which says "Add to My Meal Planner". If you click "Add Recipe", it will add it to your planner on the date you select. If you click on "Meal Planner", it will take you to the main (calendar) portion of the planner. You can plan up to 5 meals without registering, but if you are registered for our Low-Carb Forum or any other About.com Forum, you are already registered to use the tool.

One of the cool things about this is that you can find low-carb recipes from among the About.com Food Sites. You can get to search from the Instructions on the Calendar page. From there, if you click on Advanced View you can make selctions for on a number of different dimensions, including low-carb (under "special"). (This may sound complicated, but when you get there will you see that it's quite easy.) Then when you find a recipe you like, merely click to add it to whatever day you'd like (and it's easy to move them around, too.)
