Help For Your Exercise Plan

Wednesday February 1, 2006
Dr. Atkins may have said it best: "Exercise. It's non-negotiable." The trick is finding something you like to do and finding ways to make it part of your life. I will admit that this is not always easy for me! But some of our great About Fitness Guides have some advice that just might help.

Paige Waehner, our Exercise Guide shares 5 Ways to Stick to Your Exercise Goal. She makes some really great points that I'm going to try out, for example, "Instead of worrying about making up for lost time with crazy-intense workouts, focus on just getting some workout time in. Plan your workouts for the week and call yourself successful just for showing up."

Wendy Bumgardner, our Walking Guide teaches us how to begin to add some jogging into our fitness walking with From Walking to Running, and helps us to strategize ways to give "indoor walking" a lift on some of these dreary days in A Treadmill Buddy Helps Boost Your Workout.
